Well, tonight is the night. THE night, people. Mattie is a big girl. She's sleeping in her room- in her crib - upstairs. It's hard to imagine that this day is finally here. There were so many "Mattie will sleep upstairs when..." statements that have been fulfilled and here we are. She has been sleeping through the night consistently for almost 2 weeks. She is doing awesome. She self-soothes and we can lay her down awake and she'll put herself to sleep. Naps are going well, too. She takes a 2 hr nap in the morning and a 1-2 hr nap in the afternoon. Sometimes she needs a quick nap before bed. This girl is a sleeper!
Tonight we are happy that she's doing so well, but sad to see her not in her pack n play at bedtime. This is going to be the first of many steps she takes away from us. And I hope the next one is a looong time from now. ;)
I realized this week that we never posted final pics of the nursery. We love it and love seeing her in it. I thought it was fitting to share these photos since she's upstairs enjoying her new digs as I type this. Enjoy!
