This girl is too much fun. Mattie is growing so fast and rolling all the time. She's started rolling over when we try to change her diaper and starts trying to crawl away by flapping her arms and legs. She cracks us up on a daily basis.
She is making lots of new noises and, mark it down, that on Jan. 5, 2012 at approximately 9 p.m., she said "momma". It was not clear as if you and I were saying it, but the "Mmm" and "ah" sounds were definitely there. George and I have both been repeating "momma" and "dada" over and over to her. It was so cute!
This week George and I went back to work after a wonderful Christmas break. Mattie went to Eleri's house yesterday for the first time in two weeks and had a blast playing with Henry. Eleri is always so great at sending me photos throughout the day so I know how Mattie's day is going. It makes being at work much easier. Below is an adorable video she took of her during some playtime. This is the cute person we get the joy of hanging out with every day. Such a blessing!
